We are scaling up considerably in order to grow nationally and internationally in the coming years. Our website and underlying platform stand at the basis of its success, and we are looking for a Conversion Specialist to help us realize our future growth plans and ambition.
You are a Conversion Specialist who loves to discover actionable insights and gets excited by learning from experiments. You are curious by nature, like to take initiative to get things done, and are looking for a challenge to make an impact within a scale-up environment.
As a Conversion Specialist, you will be responsible for measuring, analyzing and optimizing the customer journey on our website. You will do this by collaborating closely with an experienced Conversion Specialist and joining our Product department.
You will be maintaining our tracking framework by creating implementation plans to track functionality, to keep up to speed with the latest standards and to ensure that we are measuring what matters. You will collaborate with our development team to ensure that the implementation is correct.
You will provide actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research to understand the behavior of our customers. You are applying various methods in order to do so, such as setting up onsite surveys, make a funnel analysis or using the data which we collect at our Customer Service department.
You will be involved in the full process around experimentation on our website. You will translate insights into hypotheses and craft experiments in collaboration with Product Owners and UX Designers. After every experiment, you will ensure that your findings are documented and shared with stakeholders.
The Product department has the aim to work with a strong agile mindset. We are focused on data-driven decision making, high quality, quick feedback cycles and always putting the customer first! You will play a key role in advocating this mindset within the team and wider organization.
2+ years of related work experience
A related degree is preferred but not required
Experience with Web Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimization and Usability principles
Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar and Tableau
Knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies
A self-starter with a commercial and data-driven mindset
We reserve a workplace for you in our newly renovated office at the Herengracht in the heart of Amsterdam. This will be a relaxed working environment where you will work with a lot of freedom and responsibilities. We expect to move to this new office in April 2023. Nevertheless, we keep working in a hybrid manner, partly from home and partly in the office.
