As a Data Analyst at Dé VakantieDiscounter, you will join our Data Team and be responsible for providing insights to enable data-driven decision-making by the business. Your responsibilities include creating dashboards using tools like Tableau and Looker, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to improve the customer journey, and guiding our customers to the best holiday. You will also be working on creating actionable insights for various business domains.

The Data Team is a self-organizing team responsible for everything ranging from data retrieval and disclosure, data quality control, supporting internal customers, Tableau dashboarding, performing data analysis and exploration for insights and discovery up till the development of machine-learning-based data products, and running these on the Google Cloud Platform. This team is responsible for providing solutions and insights to various business departments and continuously improving our engineering and analytics techniques and approaches.

• Translate business questions into analytical problems.
• Create actionable insights and analyses for various business departments.
• Communicate complex ideas and analysis results to technical and business stakeholders.
• Create dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Looker.
• Be an active member of the Data Science team by providing valuable solutions and insights and continuously improving the team's engineering and analytics techniques and approaches.

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Business Analyst.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, or another field related to data analysis or statistics.
• Proficient in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Looker.
• Advanced in SQL and experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis and version control systems like Git.
• Familiar with data warehousing, ETL concepts in cloud environments like GCP and are enthusiastic about ML technics and modeling.
• You enjoy presenting your ideas and findings to stakeholders.
