ING is a global bank with operations in over 40 countries. To better take advantage of the collective strengths of all the individual entities, improve speed of innovation and time-to-market, ING is starting a path of convergence towards one digital banking platform. Countries with similar value propositions will harmonise their business models and develop shared operating platforms. The ultimate goal is becoming one ING.
As an important step in realising this worldwide ambition, ING Belgium and ING Netherlands are the first two ING countries that will join forces. This will result in one banking platform, one set of systems, one set of products, one strategy, one way of working and one organisation. By 2021 the integration will be finalised. As of January 2018, the shared cross-border organisation will start. This includes all the Tribes and Centers of Expertise that will have an identical way of working (agile) and that will be end-to-end responsible for the activities in their specific area within both countries. Communications & Brand Experience is one of the Centers of Expertise that is part of the cross-border organisation.
The Center of Expertise Communications
The Center of Expertise (CoE) Communications is a cross-border organisation with over 150 people. The purpose of the CoE is to maximize the engagement of all stakeholders to become a true love brand. The Center of Expertise is organised in four Areas:
The Area Brand Experience, Advertising & Sponsoring
The Area covers all branding, advertising & sponsoring activities and strategy in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Area is headed by an Area Lead that is end-to-end responsible for Branding, Advertising & Sponsoring in both countries and reports to the overall CoE-Lead.
Within the Advertising area, the Digital Media Expert will report to the Expert Lead Media & Programmatic and will work closely with Campaigns, Social & CRM teams.
Digital media expert
For our Media & Programmatic Team, we are looking for a digital media expert. In this role you will oversee the digital paid media buying within the Dutch market, with a focus on programmatic marketing, as well as Google Adwords. Based on the right audience and creative, you constantly work on maximizing campaign impact, in close cooperation with ING’s media and creative agencies. You will report to a wide range of internal stakeholders. Your work is based on a long term vision, in which ING becomes the best in class in terms of 1 to 1 digital marketing.
You will be the hands-on expert to the rest of the media team for creative specs, tracking and optimization across digital platforms and vendors with a focus on DoubleClick and Adwords. Key is your ability to understand the needs of the business and translate these into successful campaigns and to grasp technical and data opportunities to help business forward.
